Itinerant Pharmacist - based in Orkney

We are looking for an energetic itinerant pharmacist to provide full-time cover in Orkney for our Pharmacist Managers’ holidays and days off, and to work as a second pharmacist. There will also be opportunities to provide holiday cover to our pharmacists in both Caithness and Shetland.

This role will give you the enjoyment of working in different environments, within a well-developed framework and with plenty of support from our experienced Senior Managers and Head Office staff.

· You will have a passion for community pharmacy.

· You will be an effective communicator, able to work proactively with each of our pharmacy teams.

· You will be flexible and adaptable, responding appropriately to the diverse needs of our different patient groups.

· You will have the skills to achieve outstanding patient care.

· You will be a confident provisionally registered or newly registered, pharmacist, or an experienced pharmacy manager with a sense of adventure.

Comprehensive Benefits Package

We will give you:

· A competitive salary – circa £52K to £57K, depending upon experience and qualifications

· Company Pension Scheme –5% employer contributions and minimum 5% employee contributions (you can pay more)

· 35 days Leave Allowance (including public holidays)

Pharmacist Manager - Freefield Pharmacy - Lerwick, Shetland

We are looking for a proactive Pharmacy Manager for our Freefield Pharmacy in Lerwick, Shetland.

Freefield Pharmacy

Freefield is a well-established town centre pharmacy with a loyal customer base. The pharmacy went through a complete refit in 2016, and is modern and bright, with a state-of-the-art dispensing robot. Our pharmacy-side and retail-side management system is provided by Positive Solutions.

Reporting to our senior managers you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the Scottish Pharmacy Contract as well as local and private services. We believe in ensuring our Pharmacy Managers have the skills to manage their pharmacies within a well-developed framework, supporting you through business needs-based investment and staff development.
